Conflux
More actions
The Conflux is a single-player only rogue-like mode added with Endless Ragnarok. It acts as an easy way to obtain materials for forging and upgrading weapons and Sigils. There are 5 difficulties of Conflux available, called Cycles. Higher Cycles have higher level enemies, more Areas per run, and better rewards.
Unlocking
edit edit sourceResonance
edit edit sourcePermanent upgrades that take effect during a Cycle can be unlocked by spending Resonance Points (RP). RP is gained upon successful completion of a Cycle, with higher Cycles providing more RP.
Areas
edit edit sourceCycles are broken up into a set number of Areas which feature different objectives in order to progress. After clearing an Area, the player will be able to choose between 3 Auras as a reward. The final Area of a Cycle will always be Warlord's Way, with additional Warlord's Way appearing intermittently during higher Cycles.
Conflux Points
edit edit sourceConflux Points (CP) are a temporary currency gained during higher Cycles. Each Area cleared awards a certain number of CP based on the performance of clearing the objective. CP can spent at Limbo's Way to gain additional Auras.
Auras
edit edit sourceAuras are temporary buffs that can be gained during a Cycle to make it easier. They are primarily acquired as a reward for clearing an Area, but can also be bought using CP at Limbo's Way Areas. Gaining the same Aura Multiple times will enchance it, increasing its effects for the rest of the Cycle.
Calamity Auras will initially impose a debuff on the player, but will turn in a Salvation Aura that grants a buff after clearing their associated condition.
Auras that have previously been gained during a Cycle can be viewed by talking to Historiath in in Tredame.
Rewards
edit edit sourceUpon completing a Cycle, you can choose a treasure set corresponding to the completed Cycle. Higher Cycles have the option to leave a run before making it to the final area, which will reduce the amount of each treasure you gain compared to finishing a full Cycle.
Certain treasure sets will only be able to be chosen a limited amount of times.
After clearing Warlord's Way Areas, a Boon will be gained which rewards additional treasure unrelated to the choosable treasure sets upon finishing the Cycle.
